And once again… we lost. This version ran the Scepter plan, stacking Runechants turn after turn and closing the game in a nearly unanswerable burst. It’s not the first time we’ve seen it, and it probably won’t be the last. This strategy feels increasingly hard to interact with — and increasingly common as Enigma rotates out of the format.

We’re left wondering: how do we beat this? Are we supposed to pivot toward lifegain cards like Count Your Blessings just to stay afloat long enough? Do we need a complete rethink of our sideboard plan into Florian? Right now, we don’t have the answer — but we know we need one soon.
