"At all times the corners of the coffin will be marked by guardsmen or members of the Household Cavalry, and there will be a princes' vigil as well when her four children, the queen's four children, the new king, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Princess Royal Princess Anne will take up station at the corners of their mother's coffin. That will proceed the formal funeral, which will take place at Westminster Abbey, a short walk away on the Monday morning, which will be quite an occasion, I expect many, many, many heads of state, heads of government, VIPs and former heads of state."

STORYLINE
Preparations are under way in Buckingham Palace and its surroundings for the arrival of the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II who died last week in Balmoral, Scotland, at the age of 96.
The queen's children accompanied their late mother's coffin on a procession through the Scottish capital on Monday.
King Charles III, dressed in army uniform, and his siblings Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward walked behind the hearse as the procession moved slowly from Palace of Holyroodhouse toward St. Giles' Cathedral.
The hearse was flanked by a bearer party of the Royal Regiment of Scotland and a detachment of The King's Body Guard in Scotland, the Royal Company of Archers.
The coffin will remain at the cathedral until Tuesday so that members of the public can pay their respects.
It will then be brought to London where it will stay at the Bow Room of Buckingham palace overnight.
On Wednesday, a formal procession will take the coffin from Buckingham Palace to the Palace of Westminster, "where the body will lie in state in the magnificent Westminster Hall, the original heart and centre of parliamentary democracy in this country," explained Michael Cole, a former BBC royal correspondent.
The coffin will lie in state until the day of the late sovereign's funeral on Monday 19th, with members of the public allowed to file past to pay their respects.
