Hello everyone! Welcome to the A.P. Property Services Rochester Airshow of 2024!

Presenting the United States Air Force F-16 Viper Demo Team from Shaw Air Force Base (AFB), South Carolina.

The F-16 Viper Demonstration Team is one of four demonstration teams in the United States as part of Air Combat Command (ACC). This year, the team proudly wears the paint scheme of the YF-16 prototype to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the F-16 Fighting Falcon. The pilot for this year is Capt. Taylor 'FEMA' Hiester from Robesonia, Pennsylvania. Capt. Hiester received his commission as an officer from Penn State Detachment 720 of the Reserve Officer Training Corps and graduated Undergraduate Pilot Training at Columbus AFB, Mississippi after being selected to fly the F-16 Fighting Falcon in 2017.

This show started out with 'FEMA' inspecting, entering and firing up the F-16 for the performance. After all the checks were completed, the aircraft taxied out to depart off RWY 22. Due to the nature of the show box, the traditional F-16 departure and turn away from the crowd wasn't performed. Instead, 'FEMA' repositioned behind the crowd and entered with a high speed pass to start. The performance consisted of the traditional maneuvers such as 'minimum radius turn, Falcon turn and high alpha pass'. It was a low show due to the cloud cover but that didn't stop the vapes from coming as 'FEMA' lit burner on many passes for the crowd. Afterwards, the F-16 joined up with the P-51 Mustang 'Bald Eagle' flown by Jim Beasely Jr. for the United States Air Force (USAF) Heritage Flight. After the Heritage Flight concluded, 'FEMA' still had some extra gas in the tank and gave the crowd some extra passes adding that his mom and some of his family were in attendance before landing on RWY 22 and taxiing back to parking.
