In this video I review the Edifier MR4 studio monitors and go through the design, features and real-world use for producers, mixing and everyday listening.
I measure the size, explain the woofer and tweeter, show the inputs and controls, and test both Monitor Mode and Music Mode.
At the end of the video there is a full sound test recorded using a Rode NT1 microphone so you can hear how the speakers actually translate in a studio environment.
These speakers are popular as budget studio monitors, but are they really good enough for mixing or are they just multimedia speakers?
