Comparing with nearer Churches around Tirinelveli and Tuticorin district Meignanapuram st paul's church is 177 years old. Around 20000kg rice prepared for dinner. They (Cheff) are doing free service for Church, They don't get any paid for this massive work. While in other Churches around Meignanapuram They hire chef from Meignanpuram to make Asana Virindhu for their village.The taste of the Asana saambar can't replace any other Saambars in the world
If any one try to make Asana saambar in home they don't get the taste.
Even if the chef try to make Asana saambar in house he also never get this taste. All people give their support in many ways. Here dinner is served only on the floor.
This is one of the oldest tradition followed only in Meignanapuram.
Mostly we can't see this practice around Meignanapuram. Well planned system to distribute food to people.
