Bandipur Forest (Bandipur National Park) is a well-known wildlife reserve located in Karnataka, India. It is part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and is famous for its rich biodiversity. The forest is home to animals such as tigers, Asian elephants, leopards, deer, and numerous bird species. Bandipur consists mainly of dry deciduous forests and plays an important role in conservation and eco-tourism in southern India.
The road that passes through Bandipur Forest (Bandipur National Park) is National Highway 766 (NH 766).
It connects Mysuru (Karnataka) to Wayanad (Kerala) and runs through the heart of the forest.
