Описание: ১২ মাসি তরমুজ চাষ। মাত্র ৭০ দিনে বিঘা প্রতি লাভ ২ লাখ টাকা। তরমুজ চাষ পদ্ধতি। ব্ল্যাকবেবি ও মধুমালা জাতের তরমুজ শীতকাল ছাড়া বছরের সবসময় চাষ করা যায়। এর দামও ভালো পাওয়া যায়। মাচা পদ্ধতিতে চাষ করায় উৎপাদন হারও বেশি। মালচিং পেপার বেডে সেটিং ও নেটিংয়ের ফলে বৃষ্টি, পোকা-মাকড় ও ইঁদুরের আক্রমণ থেকে রক্ষা পাওয়া যায়। মাচা ও মালচিং পেপার তিন বার ব্যবহারের উপযোগী হওয়ায় ২য় ও ৩য় ধাপে তরমুজের উৎপাদন খরচও খুব কম হয়। কীটনাশক ছাড়া বিষমুক্ত, কেঁচো সার, কম্পোস্ট, বায়োনিম, ফেরোম্যান ট্যাপ ব্যবহারের ফলে রোগের প্রকোপ কম হয়।
এই তরমুজের জীবনকাল মাত্র ৬০ দিনের। ১ বিঘা জমির জন্য প্রয়োজন ৫০ গ্রাম বীজ। যার দাম ৩ হাজার ৮’শ টাকা। বিঘাপ্রতি সেড তৈরির মালসিং পেপার ৭ হাজার ৫’শ, মাচা পদ্ধতিতে শেড তৈরির বাঁশ আর মজুরি খরচ ১০ হাজার, সার মাটি আর বালাই নাশক স্প্রে বাবদ ৭ হাজার ৫’শ, পরিচর্যা বাবদ ৬ হাজার, পরিবহন খরচ ২ হাজার। বিঘাপ্রতি তরমুজ চাষে সর্বমোট খরচ হয় ৩০-৩৫ হাজার টাকা। এক বিঘা জমিতে ৬০ দিনে উৎপাদন হয় ১২’শ থেকে ১৫’শ টি তরমুজ, যার ওজন প্রায় ৪ থেকে ৪.৫ মেট্রিকটন। প্রতিটি তরমুজ ৩০ টাকা কেজি দরে বিক্রি করলে যার বিক্রি মূল্য হয় ১ লাখ ২০ হাজার টাকা। বিঘাপ্রতি লাভ থাকে ৭০ থেকে ৮০ হাজার টাকা। যা তুলনামূলক অন্যান্য ফসলের চাইতে অনেক লাভজনক
