Описание: The myth of the Amancay flower is one of the most beautiful and tragic legends of Argentine and Chilean Patagonia, a flower that grows in South America, specifically in Patagonia.

The legend goes like this: Amancay was a humble young woman of great beauty and pure heart, in love with the brave Quintral (in some versions, a warrior or the son of a chief).

One day, Quintral fell gravely ill. The tribe's elders said that he could only be saved with a yellow flower that grew on the summit of a sacred mountain, guarded by spirits and punished by eternal cold.

Without hesitation, Amancay embarked on the journey.

She climbed the mountain, facing snow, wind, and pain. Upon reaching the top, she managed to pluck the flower, but the effort was too much: her body froze to death, and she died embracing the flower.

The gods, moved by their love and sacrifice, transformed their blood and spirit into thousands of yellow flowers that covered the mountain. Thus was born the Amancay flower, symbol of:
