TXCS Summer Academy: Dr. Calvin Lin presents his perspective of Texas Computer Science and the Turing Scholars Program.
Calvin Lin is a University Distinguished Teaching Professor with research interests in computer architecture, compilers, and security. In addition to his technical research, he has led UT's NSF-funded effort to improve high school CS curricula. He is also the Director of the Turing Scholars Honors Program and the longtime coach of UT's Men's Ultimate Frisbee team. Calvin received his BS from Princeton and his Ph.D. from the University of Washington.
