This video demonstrates my Coursework 2 submission for the Games Networking and Security module.
The demo showcases a multiplayer battle arena game developed in Unity using Photon Networking and PlayFab. The video covers:
Multiplayer lobby and room system using Photon PUN
Real-time gameplay synchronisation across multiple clients
Lobby and in-game chat system implemented with Photon Chat
Local persistent player data saved using JSON, Base64 encoding, and encryption
Global PlayFab leaderboards tracking player wins and a custom gameplay metric
Runtime leaderboard UI populated from PlayFab
Quality-of-life features and general gameplay flow
The video includes live gameplay footage as well as brief explanations of relevant code and implementation decisions.
(All features were tested across mutliplient clients and machines)
