The Cambridge Junction bridge is a special type of covered bridge, featuring Burr Arch Truss construction which combines the idea of an arch bridge with what’s called a King Post truss, which is how early post and beam houses were built.
This Place in History is produced in partnership by Local 22 & Local 44 (www.mychamplainvalley.com) and the Vermont Historical Society.
