We want to try finishing aluminum parts by tumbling them in some kind of (inexpensive) media using an old cement mixer.
Here we start trying to tumble the sample parts in different media, starting with coarse gravel. We try a couple finer rocks then some store-bought plastic finishing media. The results are pretty much as expected.
There are some long shots of just the mixer turning. It's a bit mesmerizing -- we could do some ASMR-type videos of this beguiling siren.
