Simulation of a Complex Urban Intersection | PTV Vissim | Product Demo

Описание: Detailed multimodal microscopic simulation powered by PTV Vissim showing an underground public transport (PT) station and an urban intersection including cyclists, pedestrians, trams, buses, cars, emergency vehicles, LGV and trucks, and all their interactions.
This model is located in the center of the City of Karlsruhe which recently was restructued with additional tram lines, a new road tunnel as well as underground PT stations. One station was modelled to detail based on the actual construction plans, including elevators, escalators, stairs and all passenger flows.

The replication of the 2D infrastructure is embedded in a 3D environment, picturing many aspects of real life for easy identification - all seemlessly included in a single PTV Vissim model. In the video, the simulation runs slightly faster than realtime (factor 1.5).

This one-shot video was recorded directly in PTV Vissim using its storyboard and camera movement features. Together with user-defined layouts, which allow showing or hiding parts of the network on the fly, Vissim's recording functionality is a versatile tool for producers resulting in an exciting and informative user experience.
