I inspect my oldest hive and find that they've been thriving in the abundant flow we had this spring. The dearth is upon us soon, but they have ample stores to get through it and likely through the winter as well. We do have some SHB (small hive beetles), that I am beginning to deal with, but the strength of the colony should be able to control them.
