Strong Storms in London and the Midlands - 12th June 2023

Multiple strong thunderstorms developed during the afternoon of the 12th, initially over London, but moved north into the Midlands. I was hit by the storm in London, containing torrential rain and very strong winds, before driving through the storm complex as it approached Milton Keynes, attempting to get ahead of it. Setting up in Daventry, I started filming the incoming storm - which looked very intense, but unfortunately weakened as the outflow triggered new cells ahead of my position. After trying to catch up, I drove back south to London. Overall a fun chase though hopefully I will have better luck next time.
