This diy open mount allows to use SONY hdr-as10, hdr as-15, hdr as-30V and hdr as-100, without waterproof case, on a tripod or anything else with 1/4" screw. It allows to connect external microphone with the camera in place. It allows also access to battery/sd card compartment and prev/next buttons as well.
The diy lens filter adapter/holder, accepts 58mm filter. Besides lens protection, it allows to attach any kind of filter to SONY hdr as-10 /-15 /-30V. At 120 degr. FOV there is no vignetting effect but at 170 degr. becomes visible (depends of the filter's thickness)
