If touring around Appin and Duror, then a wee cafe and restaurant I can recommend is the Racer Cafe at Barcaldine, PA37 1SE.
It has plenty of parking space regardless of the size of your rig, great views, a playground for kids and just great food and you are made very welcome by Lee Williamson and Co.
I was so impressed with the American diner theme that I had to make a video of in case I missed anything out.
Genuinely worth a stop, even for a coffee.
It even has its own bit of history on an isle close by and approachable at low tide. A saint's cell is there and the bay is known as Colomba's bay?? Just saying,
