A team of former Avro engineers and craftsman spent years building a 1:1 scale model of the jet and was moved into the aircraft museum at Downsview Park in 2006.
The world's only full-scale replica of the Avro Arrow was unveiled in 2006 at the Toronto Aerospace Museum in Downsview Park. The original was built 60 years ago only a few kilometres away, but in 1959 the Conservative government of the day abruptly halted the program and ordered the five existing Arrows destroyed.
