This piece tells the story of a warrior who goes to war, leaving his wife behind. The battle leaves him critically wounded. With his remaining strength he tries to return home but gets only as far as the great lake across from his home where his wife is sitting, waiting for her beloved husband. With his dying breath, he dips his hand into the lake, willing the water ripples that carries with it his heart, his love, his sadness and his longing…
His hopes of what could have been…
A message of love and goodbye to his wife; one last time.
