Here I am in San Francisco again, wandering without a map, without a plan, just a phone snap in some random direction and a stubborn curiosity about whatever might be hiding out there. The trick isn’t to know where you’re going, it’s to give yourself permission to get lost. One photo leads to a landmark, the landmark leads to a side street, the side street leads to a story – and suddenly the city reveals itself in ways no taxi or Waymo ride ever could.

This time I set myself a mission: murals. Walls that speak. Paintings that shout. Colours that splash across brick and concrete. For you it might be hydrants, or crooked street signs, or people peering out of windows. It doesn’t matter what the goal is – only that you have one.
