Rhinebeck 2025 Recap | Yarn, Friends & Fall Magic in Upstate NY

Описание: Rhinebeck 2025 was pure magic. ✨

This was my fifth year attending the New York Sheep and Wool Festival, and it might’ve been the best one yet. From a delayed flight out of Des Moines to an unforgettable weekend full of yarn, sunshine, and community ... here’s my full recap of the trip.

We start off with a flight to LaGuardia, then drive north through fall foliage to Saugerties, with a stop at The Perfect Blend Yarn and Tea Shop. After settling into our cozy Airbnb, we kick things off with Cakepalooza, Indie Untangled, and A Woolen Affair — the best pre-Rhinebeck events to meet dyers, shop yarn, and connect with friends.

Then it’s on to the main event at Rhinebeck: the Knitting is Resistance t-shirt meetup on the Hill, the alpaca + llama parade, and of course… yarn shopping galore. Saturday night we joined the Brooklyn General crew at Rose Hill Farm for an industry night under the stars – fire pits, music, and knitters everywhere.

On Sunday, we took it slow – more shopping, a visit to Jill Draper’s Open Air Studio, knitting by the Hudson, a little hike, and plenty of fall leaves. It was a beautiful, joy-filled weekend in upstate New York. Zero complaints – just yarn, friends, and perfect fall weather.
