Описание: In this webinar, Stacy Bonos of Rutgers University discusses breeding objectives important to switchgrass production in the Northeastern US. Switchgrass cultivars are very region-specific, so it is important to develop cultivars within the region where growers will implement them. Breeding objectives may be similar in some regions and very different in others, and Stacy guides us through that conversation today. She also introduces issues associated with breeding for performance on marginal land and/or in the presence of pests and pathogens.
