In March 2010, Jaap appeared premiering a piece in the most important radio-station in Germany, during the Newcommer Werkstatt show, dedicated to sound-art and sound-landscape works.
Jaap contributed for this show with HOW13, a piece that is an interpretation, of the wild and surreal audio ambience, that creates the unique sound chaos in Mexico City.
This piece is built around with sound-art and sound-landscape from Mexico's multimillion populated metropoli, but recomposed through Granular synthesis and looping processes.
