Relatively new in the world of dance music, Venezuala’s Steven Vegas’ fledgling career has blossomed in a short space of time, culminating in his first output on Revealed’s main imprint with his impressive remix of Revealed stalwart KAAZE’s ‘Sexy’, which was originally released in April. Having started as a pro-user on the revealedrecordings.com, Steven’s production improved to the point where he was asked to provide a track for the Revealed Miami Festival EP and later to remix Paris & Simo ft. Nikon’s huge track ‘Glow’, and his remix of ‘Sexy’ is further proof of the artist’s undeniably speedy progression, as he continues to impress with each release.

the remix adds a tribal rhythm to the original, complemented by roaring synths coupled with vocal chants that all combine to make it primed for peak-time DJ sets. A rumbling reese bass, war drums and breakbeat in the middle section give the track diversity and keeps the interest piqued throughout.

There is no doubting Steven Vegas has made swift moves to cement his name as an artist to look out for, and his remix of ‘Sexy’ is the young talent’s most accomplished to date.
