Nagpahayag si Sen. Christopher "Bong" Go ng kaniyang lubos na suporta sa budget ng Office of the Vice President (OVP), batay sa kaniyang paniniwala na ito ay nagagamit nang maayos para sa mga social services.
Sinabi niya na noong nakaraang taon, 2025, nabawasan ang pondo ng OVP at hindi napagbigyan ang kaniyang kahilingan na ibalik ito sa orihinal na budget request.
Iginiit din niya na ang Bise Presidente ay hinalal upang maging isang “working Vice President” at hindi lamang isang “spare tire.”
Dagdag pa niya, handa siyang ibigay ang bahagi ng kaniyang sariling budget, kung ito ay legal, upang makatulong sa mga proyekto ng OVP.
