I wouldn’t call myself a mechanic by any means just a dude trying to save a little money from labor intensive shops. My SS needed a tune up, never done it on a 5.3 before so I figured I mention my struggles along the way to help the next person out. Any of the videos I tried to look up never mentioned what I mention they said they did the job without removing certain things but it was a struggle after I broke off the metal spark plug wire clamp due to a poor execution on removing the boot from the plug. So hopefully this video helps some poor dumb ass like my self lol
My tools:
5/8” Spark plug socket
3/8 Extension 3 inch
3/8 Ratchet (bought a foot long one the standard size one didn’t give me much torque space for that rough one in the back)
