FASTRACK IND 6th Ave Line: Train Traffic at 23rd St-6th Ave (FASTRACK G.O.)

Note: Due to FASTRACK there where no N, Q, R, & W Trains services along Broadway & Lower Manhattan in both directions.

Q & R Trains have been rerouted on the via 6th Ave Line.

Q Trains ran express but local during late nights on the D Line running from Grand St to/from 47th-50th Sts-Rockefeller Center and then on the F Line from 47th-50th Sts-Rockefeller Center to Lexington Ave-63rd St.

R Trains ran local via 53rd St M Line to/from Court Square-23rd St to West 4th St, and then on the D Line from West 4th St to Atlantic Ave-Barclays Center.

N Trains ran in two sections from Gravesend-86th St to Court St & from Astoria-Ditmars Blvd to Queensboro Plaza.

W Trains ended early (suspended).

B Trains also ended early due to the heavy train traffic.

D, F, & M Trains ran normally.

1st video:
In this long 10 min video, we have a traffic jam of backup Uptown/Queens Bound trains starting with a 96th St-2nd Ave Bound R160A-2 Q Train running via the F Line coming from 14th St and arriving at 23rd St.

Then after being held at the station due to train traffic 96th St-2nd Ave bound Q train departing out of 23rd St heading towards 34th St-Herald on 6th Ave as it’s next station stop.

Then behind it was a Queens Bound R46 R Train also running via F Line coming from 14th St and now arriving at 23rd St.

Then Queens-bound R train slowly departs out of 23rd St and heading towards 34th St-Herald Square on 6th Ave as it’s next station stop.

Then behind the R train was a Queens Bound R160A-2 F Train coming from 14th St and now arriving at 23rd St.

Then Queens-bound F train departing out of 23rd St heading towards 34th St-Herald Square as it’s next station stop.

Then coming behind the F train was a 96th St-2nd Ave Bound R160A-1 M Train also coming from 14th St and now arriving at 23rd St.

Then 96th St-2nd Ave bound M train departing out of 23rd St heading towards 34th St-Herald Square as it’s next station stop.

We have another traffic jam of Brooklyn Bound trains starting with a Brooklyn bound R46 R Train via 4th Ave Local coming from 34th St-Herald Sq and now arriving at 23rd St.

Then Brooklyn bound R train departing out of 23rd St heading towards 14th St as its next station stop.

Then behind it was a Brooklyn Bound R160A-1 M Train via Myrtle Ave Local with a half Cuomo wrap coming from 34th St-Herald Sq and now arriving at 23rd St.

Then Brooklyn bound M train departing out of 23rd St heading towards 14th St as its next station stop.

Then coming behind was a Brooklyn Bound R160A-2/R160B F Train via Culver Line also coming from 34th St-Herald Sq and now arriving at 23rd St.

Then Brooklyn bound F train departing out of 23rd St heading towards 14th St as its next station stop.
