Due to various reasons, underlaying can happen at the windward mark. So being able to get round the mark when you are below the starboard layline is a key skill to do, if a double tack option is not available. Skinning the windward mark is a technique that you can use to help you round. In this video I show you how to do a tight windward mark rounding.
