A very traditional dish
Amount Ingredient
Sour Cream w/Paprika
2 Cups Full fat oat milk or oat creamer
2 TBSP Nutritional yeast
2 TBSP Apple cider vinegar
2 TBSP Fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 TBSP Tapioca starch/flour
1 tsp Salt
2 TBSP Sweet paprika
The Paprikash
20 oz Of your favorite vegan chicken strips or breast – frozen is OK
1 Large onion halved and sliced
1 Green bell pepper sliced into strips
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
2. Add the “sour cream” ingredients to a blender until smooth.
3. Add the chicken to an 8 in x 10 in baking pan.
4. Top the chicken with the sliced onion and pepper.
5. Pour the sour cream mixture over the onions and peppers.
6. Bake for 30 – 35 minutes or until it is hot all the way through.
7. Serve with sauerkraut or cucumber salad, and rice or vegan dumplings/noodles.
