THE FRAMER Phonograph Collection -Where all this stuff came from- part-1

Описание: This video tells the story of individual phonographs and where they came from. It would be a pretty short and boring video if all I did was buy them all on ebay. That would be like shooting ducks with their feet nailed to a fence. The thrill of the hunt is half the fun! In the old days we would hunt auctions, estate sales and flea markets. We even ran ads in the newspaper for "Phonographs Wanted". One of my most successful ads read: "$$$ $1,000.00 minimum paid for the phonographs I need most for my collection! 10% gladly paid for leads! …" I enjoy hearing how fellow collectors came by their treasures. Since then my new goal has been one great thing a year. I must admit I sometimes find more than one treasure to buy in a year. The house has been full for 15 years and I don't want to find myself on one of those hoarder shows!
