Look out for the photos from my recent trip to Greenwich, London. Please note the first part of the review of the Elizabeth I book is absent! Rather than re-shoot it, what I was talking about was Anne Somerset herself, who left London University to become a research assistant for various historians and then began writing her own history books. Her Elizabeth I was published in 1991. The Times Literary Supplement described it as, 'the fullest and best biography of the queen since Sir John Neale's in 1934'. It is 732 and a half pages.
