Legend has it that this waterfall is connected to the Ramayana epic, where King Ravana is said to have hidden Princess Sita in the nearby caves. 2. Diyaluma Falls:
Located a short drive from Ella, Diyaluma Falls is the second-highest waterfall in Sri Lanka, standing at 220 meters. It offers breathtaking tiers of cascading water and natural pools at the top, perfect for swimming and taking in panoramic views of the surrounding valleys.
3. Nine Arches Bridge Waterfall:
While smaller, this waterfall near the famous Nine Arches Bridge is a charming sight, especially when combined with a hike or a train ride over the bridge. The serene environment and proximity to the iconic railway make it a great spot for photography.
