Former Corris Railway Number 4 Edward Thomas and Talyllyn Railway Number 2 Dolgoch featured on a David Williams Photographic Charter on the Talyllyn Railway on Monday 9th March 2026.
The two railway steam locomotives were joined by a Taskers of Andover steam tractor, which carries a matching lined grey livery to No.4. Tasker B2 Tractor No.1592 was built in 1914 for the Osier Slag Company of Wolverhampton in the West Midlands. It was initially used for removing slag from the steel and ironworks for road material, but was requisitioned in the First World War for use as a winching tractor.
In the morning Number 2 took the Talyllyn vintage train set up to Abergynolwyn, stopping off at Rhydyronen (for shots amongst the dafffodils), Brynglas, Dolgoch and Quarry Siding. Number 4 joined Number 2 and the steam tractor at Brynglas for the afternoon.
