ACTION MAN EAGLE EYES SOLDIER 1977

Описание: Palitoy upgraded the basic Action Man/GI Joe figure in the early 1970s first with flocked hair and then gripping hands. In the US Hasbro developed Moving Eagle Eyes for GI Joe to combat flagging sales, and in 1977 Eagle Eyes were introduced into the Action Man range. With the resulting figure known as the ''Hybrid'' combining 1960s body with flocked hair, gripping hands and Moving Eagle Eyes. Four Eagle Eye figures released in 1977: Sailor, Soldier, Adventurer and Helicopter pilot.
The heads were were made of injected moulded PVC and were made in two parts allowing fixing of Eagle Eye mechanism - and were available in brown and blone flocks with beaded versions of both. Eyes were coloured blue for all heads.

The Soldier Uniform was retained from previous with some detail changes
Sweater: More nylon types but woolen versions were still turnng up
Beret: Larger than previous to accomodate larger Eagle Eye Head - profile was flatter too
Trousers: Had large pocket on left leg and the press stud cap was visible
Scarf: Woolen and Nylon types turned up
Belt: Lighter Khaki colour and made of thinner material than previous
SLR Rifle: Now had plastic strap as standard
Boots: Standard short black blow moulded type
