It's Javier who convinced me to make a film with Consuelo. He had such beautiful words on her that you would feel moved just by hearing him talking.

I had the idea of filming with Magali Solier or Susana Baca, but what would be the point of recording such famous people, when there was some others as interesting to which you could offer a portrait?

Cinema is about recording images and sounds in a specific place at a specific time. It was time for Consuelo Jeri to bring us around Lima.
