@onxoffroad told @6footphoto and I to go out to the desert and not get lost…. Well, we are happy to say we didn’t get lost, but we did get stuck.
Many think in order to have a good time in the desert, you need big tires, a Raptor, and four-wheel drive. But, in fact, that isn't the case at all...
All you need is some slightly larger tires, a good attitude, and a friend who's willing to throw their 944 Porsche around Johnson Valley, like Trevor Woods who built his Porsche 944 into an epic budget off-road camping rig.
Even onX Offroad questioned whether or not it was a good idea to take an old Porsche to the desert, and to be honest it was the best idea we had all year. At least, we think it was.
