The president of Stryker's Digital, Robotics, and Enabling Technologies, Robert Cohen, explains to Additive Report Editor Don Nelson how 3D printing has freed implant-makers from the constraints inherent with conventional manufacturing processes.
Cohen also explains to Nelson, who had total knee arthroplasty surgery last November, how Stryker used additive manufacturing to 3D-print implants and why robots are "assisting" at more and more TKA surgeries.
