Описание: ⚙️ A successful socialization: Bears Em, Be, Mochi, Nikko and Nara are finally together! 💕

This has been some years in the making, and the tireless work of the on-site team has resulted in great success. ✨

Mochi, Nikko and Nara are now five years old, while Em and Be are three. They have been living alongside each other at BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh for over two years. 

In 2023, an attempt was made for a first introduction, which was successful with Mochi but not with Nikko and Nara. Em and Be were a bit smaller than the two of them and it was decided it was best to wait until they were a bit more evenly matched and able to stand up for themselves.  💪

All bears were observed very closely for a long time: their interactions between the den sliding doors were mostly positive, with them visiting each other, sniffing noses, pawing each other, but still sometimes one would try and grab the other and there would be some aggression. 

With Em and Be grown in both size and confidence, the onsite team decided on a second socialisation attempt the following year. After a month of careful introductions all five bears now live together 24/7.  🍀🐻

Em and Be especially love Nikko; they jump all over him, sometimes both together, and he loves having some new friends to play and wrestle with. 

Mochi and Nara are not really into that kind of strenuous activity so much.

We love seeing them enjoying each other’s company; it brings us a great feeling of relief and joy when the hard work pays off this way. 💕
