In this video we remove all condensate from in front of the Delta steam trap and simulate the Delta steam trap working under zero condensate load conditions.
One question often asked about our steam traps is, do they leak steam when there is no condensate present? Firstly, there is virtually never a scenario in steam trapping where there is zero condensate present, even if it goes down to 10% condensate load, there is still condensate present.
Secondly, this video clearly demonstrates that with no condensate present, the Delta steam trap easily manages the very low load and does not leak steam.
The only steam that can be seen is the flash steam from the length of pipe after the steam trap.
