2. State whether the -ing word is a gerund or a participle.

3. Say whether the following sentences have a possessive adjective or a possessive pronoun.
a) Those are the very dust particiles that will pollute the air.
b) Each precious particle of gold dust was gathered.


4. Name the adjectives in this sentence. Say whether they are attributive or predicative
The chirping, melodious music of the songbirds was soothing to some and cacophonous to others.


5. Mark all the adjectives in this sentence and say what kind they are.
The questions set were unending, and left the students exhausted.
