Cleveland weather: Leftover snow showers, otherwise a mix of sun and clouds on Wednesday

Our next system will approach from the northwest late this evening with increasing winds and a burst of snow overnight. We could have some briefly slick conditions tonight for those third-shift workers, but conditions should improve in time for the morning rush hour. The other thing that will be on our side--the temps. They should continue to slowly rise overnight with temps at or above freezing for the morning drive--this will help salt to be very effective, so clearing any snow that falls shouldn't be a problem.

Leftover snow showers are possible tomorrow before clouds mix with some sunshine. Temps will bump up into the mid and upper 30s with some help from the wind. Quiet weather then takes over Thursday and Friday with a nice warm up slated for Friday with temps pushing the upper 40s.

An active weather pattern returns later this weekend into the beginning of next week. The storm track will track right through northern Ohio, perhaps bringing a few periods of snow or wintry mix into next week as a larger storm system tries to develop. We'll be keeping a close eye on the weather pattern next week!
