One can't leave the light of God - Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

1. Dr. Hagelin: I thought if possible, if Maharishi were still available, we could leave with one beautiful thought of Maharishi's-a response to this short but sensitive question, beautiful question. The question is:
Maharishi, last week you described Transcendental Consciousness as "a world on its own." "It is a very soft world," Maharishi said. "It is a unified world. There is no diversity in it, but it is a very real world, which the eyes cannot see. It is described in the religious literature as 'divine seeing, divine hearing, divine tasting, divine touch.' It is a world on its own, in the light of God." My question for Maharishi is: If a person experiences that very soft world during meditation, why would he or she ever want to leave that world and return to this harsh world of problems and sorrow? Where does the impulse come from to rise up from the depths of meditation and, say, go back to work?
2. Once one has taken a dive into the transcendent, into the reality of himself, one cannot forget oneself. One can't leave it.
3. Everyone experiences it at some time or other, because it's one's own nature. Only, the education has not been structured to reveal it. Now we are putting it in education, and then everyone will have it. Everyone will be floating in that field of bliss, floating in this light of God.
4. It's just a matter of remembering it. There is nothing much to maintain its remembrance. It's held up by its own nature, because it's our own value.
