Most of the time I recover my stall exercises at the incipient stage. This time I wanted to do a full stall again. I tried to keep the wings level with rudder as long as possible. When I slightly overcorrected, it was amazing how quickly the inner wing dropped. Don't do this close to the ground. We went up to 4.000 ft for safety. This is important in case a spin should develop.
Proper recovery technique from a stall is: Lower the nose to reduce angle of attack (AOA), neutralize ailerons and apply full power. Reducing AOA breaks the stall by restoring the airflow over the wings. Stop any yawing with opposite rudder to prevent going into a spin. Don't try to pick up a dropping wing with aileron. This would just deepen the stall on the dropping wing because of the increased AOA. When the stall is broken and and you are above stall speed roll upside and level off. Don't do this too abruptly to prevent a secondary stall or high G loads.
