Описание: After two full years of trying, it finally happened… we caught our first-ever lake trout at Hidden Lake on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. 🎣❄️

This was a two-day grind that took everything we had. Day one started with an early-morning drive from Seward, meeting up with our buddy Virgil and his son Sirius, hauling gear onto the ice, drilling holes in brutal cold, and chasing bites that just wouldn’t commit. The scenery was unreal… but the fish weren’t cooperating.

Day two was redemption day. Mama Bee and B-Man joined the mission, and we brought something brand new to test — custom tube jigs we hand-poured the night before. We drilled in, fired up the heater, dropped lines… and the heartbreak started again. Lost fish. Broken knots. Missed chances.

Then it finally happened.

B-Man hooked into a solid fish, fought it to the hole, and landed our first Hidden Lake lake trout ever. Two years of trying… and it all paid off in one unforgettable moment.
