Описание: Day 11, the final day of our Thailand journey, is filled with emotions and unforgettable memories. On New Year’s Eve, while returning to our hotel in a TukTuk, we discover a rooftop party with a small yet soulful gathering. From there, we witness stunning fireworks and a breathtaking view of a nearby temple – the Golden Mount.

On New Year’s morning, we walk just 7 minutes from our hotel to visit the Golden Mount Temple (Wat Saket). This temple is an important Buddhist landmark built on the only hill in Bangkok, with 320 steps leading to the top. Along the way, we pass an artificial pond with a wishing bowl, a tree filled with golden leaves carrying people’s wishes, and massive bells that visitors ring for good luck. At the top, we see the golden chedi enshrining Buddha’s relics and enjoy panoramic views of Bangkok. Starting the year here feels truly blessed.

After returning, we check out from the hotel, take a taxi ride through Bangkok’s busy streets, and enjoy our last meal at Gujju Indian Restaurant. Yummy food and a comforting break before we head for some last-minute shopping at the famous Platinum Shopping Mall, one of the biggest shopping complexes in Bangkok. Finally, with bags full of memories and hearts full of gratitude, we make our way to the airport.
