On the surface, the numbers look impressive—especially the MQL5 signal stats.
But once you look deeper, there are clear warning signs:
• The forward signal shows a very high win rate, yet the average loss is larger than the average profit
• This “small wins, heavier losses” profile often looks great in the short term—but can break hard later
• My backtest (2005–2026) produced an unusually smooth curve, BUT trading only starts after 2018
→ meaning performance before 2018 cannot be evaluated at all
• The EA appears scalping-oriented, so spread, slippage, and execution quality can change results significantly
• Forward behavior may differ from backtest behavior (possible setting / environment differences)
Bottom line: Don’t judge this EA by the headline curve or win rate.
If you track one thing, track HOW it loses: loss size, frequency, and behavior during bad regimes.
