21x 21 Online TV held the first-of-its-kind gala evening on Monday, 24 February 2020. At this Showcase grand finale, top local NPOs were given the opportunity to present their stories, dreams and wishes to a group of 250 benefactors and media which included Radio Tygerberg 104FM, Die Groot Ontbyt on KykNET, Radio Helderberg, Radio Cape Pulpit and RoepTV. The golden thread of this successful evening was to encourage benefactors and beneficiaries to work together for a greater cause than simply financial benefits or tax deduction – to inspire the benefactors to commit to the vision of these NPOs in order to better the Western Cape.

21 x 21 Online TV was the brainchild of the CEO of Ipic Group, Rian Maartens, who explained what inspired him to use 21 x 21 Online TV as a catalyst for better direct connections between donors and beneficiaries. Rian found his inspiration through his relationship with God as well as various business and spiritual leaders. The Word of God says that God loves a cheerful donor, and this is the foundation for 21 x 21’s idea to connect cheerful donors with worthy beneficiaries.

Calling Education (callingeducation.org.za) was the ultimate winner of the GALA Event. Second place went to Join Bands Not Gangs (www.joinbandsnotgangs.com) presented by Karien de Waal, and third place went to It’s Amazing! Zoë Trust (itsamazing.org.za) presented by Lisa Truter.
