Go North East Santa Bus Tour 2022

Описание: The Go North East Santa Bus returned once again this year to spread some festive cheer across the region in the run-up to Christmas. This year the #GNESantaBus traveled over 260 miles across the North East visiting local villages, towns, and cities.

The past few years have been challenging for us all and with the current cost of living crisis many have also found this year very challenging, especially in the run-up to Christmas. To help keep spirits high and to help put smiles back on people’s faces, for the past few years Go North East has been touring the North East with their Santa bus and this year was no different.

Just like previous years, this year was another huge success with thousands of people lining the streets across the North East. Once again so many people enjoyed seeing Santa and his bus before the big day. This year saw a change to the tour to make it a little bit different from previous years. The idea was to have Santa travel to different places each day to ‘deliver presents’ but on his way, he would drive by the local areas. Monday he went to Lapland, Tuesday North Pole, Wednesday Santa’s Grotto, Thursday Reindeerland, and Friday The Elf Workshop. Each place was displayed on the front of the bus and also on the Go North East website where you could also track the bus in real time.

Thank you to everyone that came out and saw us. It was great to see once again so many people enjoying the Santa Bus and we hope it has made this year a little bit more enjoyable. A big thank you and well done to everyone who was involved with this project.
