📝 Step 3: Register with the Medical Marijuana Use Registry

After receiving a recommendation, the physician will enter your information into the Medical Marijuana Use Registry. You will then apply for your Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR) Identification Card. This can be done online or by mail .  

Required Documents:
• A passport-style photo
• Proof of Florida residency (e.g., Florida driver’s license or ID card)
• $75 application fee

🛒 Step 4: Purchase Medical Marijuana

Once approved, you can purchase medical marijuana from licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers (MMTCs) in Florida. A list of MMTCs is available on the OMMU website .

To maintain your medical marijuana card, you must have a follow-up appointment with your physician at least once every 210 days. Renewal applications can be submitted online or by mail, starting 45 days before your card expires .
