Amazing balancing by Gambit21 of the valley location and geography, element placement and weather, particularly the variable cloud ceiling. Mind boggling the amount of work put into this.
I never did manage to capture the localizer into those guns in the treeline at 9:00 O'clock. METAR was problematic, and the ATC had a deutscher akzent, and a thoroughly untrustworthy sounding levity about him when issuing recommendations.
